Need New Tires?

Because your tires are so important to your family's safety, we recommend getting a regular tire rotation with every oil change. By allowing us to reposition all four tires on your GMC model, you'll help your tires wear more evenly and last longer as you drive around Big Spring TX. Have us do a tire check to see if you have enough tread depth to continue driving safely. If your tires need to be replaced, we can install a complete new set for you. We offer first-rate tires made by great brands like Michelin®, Pirelli®, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Hankook and BF Goodrich. We also recommend getting a wheel alignment check every time you change your oil.

A regular, factory-recommended oil change is the most fundamental building block of good maintenance. Any vehicle's engine is subject to airborne invasions from unwanted marauders like dust, dirt and grime. Your GMC vehicle's motor oil sweeps through your engine and cleanses all those uninvited guests to help clean up your engine components and keep everything well-lubricated. But with the passage of time, your oil starts to wear out.

With an oil change, we can flush out the old motor oil and fill your crankcase with fresh new lubrication. Thanks to today's more advanced synthetic motor oils, we recommend getting your oil changed every 7500 to 10,000 miles. However, if you drive in dusty, dirty conditions around West Odessa or do a lot of stop-and-go driving in the city, you might need to change your oil more often. Ask one of our service advisors for a personalized recommendation.

Your brakes are some of the most vital safety components on your GMC truck or SUV. We'll help you make sure your brakes will stop you every time you need them. If you hear a high-pitched squeak when you step on your brake pedal, that means your brake pads are probably wearing out and need replacement.

We recommend flushing your GMC vehicle's brake fluid once a year and it makes sense to have us bleed your brake fluid every six months if you do a lot of hard braking. Hard braking can stress your brake rotors and build up heat in the brake system which can boil the fluid and create air bubbles. When you have us bleed your brake system we can help eliminate those bubbles in the system.

The battery in your GMC truck or SUV can gradually lose its power without giving you much notice. That's why it's a good idea to have us check your battery every time you do an oil change. We can clean any corrosion that's accumulated on the terminals and that will help your battery last longer. The extreme heat we experience here in West Texas can be hard on your battery and cause it to wear out faster.

Ask us to do a load test on your battery to see if it has enough cold cranking amps to start your car first thing in the morning. If your battery doesn't have enough power and it needs to be replaced, we have some outstanding ACDelco Gold batteries in stock and we'll be glad to install one for you.
